XDL (Formerly SukiGD)
A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
XDL is a tool for converting RenPy-style script files into JSON files, which can then be read by the game engine or program of your choice. It also comes with a basic reading tool that can be opened in Godot 3.0.
The syntax is similar to RenPy, except all constants are written in their own file, and different emotions are handled by Godot's Sprite frame system using enumerations. There are now detailed instructions in a Github Wiki.
As of this latest version, the functionality has changed in such a way that scripts will need to be reformatted. See Github or the included example files for details.
For more information on syntax and usage, see the project Github: https://github.com/ellis-matthew4/XDL
